Tournament Arc

Little Creature

An animated trailer created as a Kickstarter promo for Little Creature’s card game, Tournament Arc. An action-packed montage inspired by Shonen sports anime, with a cute and quirky Western cartoon flair.

NOXP

The microseries that started it all! NOXP follows a JRPG crew after their epic quest has concluded, leaving them to deal with the NEXT ADVENTURE: EVERYDAY LIFE! Created by Gene Goldstein, NOXP has found success on all social platforms and garnered an active fanbase.

Umbert Actually!

Originally starting as a series of animation labor PSAs created with Animation Workers Ignited, these shorts evolved into their own series after the #UnionYaoi trend went viral. Starring Adam Conover and Alex Hirsch as Umbert and Misterman, UMBERT ACTUALLY aims to be Schoolhouse Rock for the video feed generation.

Gene Goldstein

President

Gene is a bad enough dude AND the President. The Initial Bean founded Jellybox in summer of 2023, after being part of yet another mass lay-off and returning to his original love: funny lil shorts on the internet. In years past, Gene also created the viral sensation Planet Panic, the Newgrounds Flash webseries Hyperboy, the microseries NOXP, a webcomic called Galacticat, and many other projects. With over 20 years of experience working in both web and television animation, Gene dreams of a studio built around artists’ needs, with a focus on work-life balance and sustainability. Also, he is definitely NOT the frontman of a rock band known as Qbomb, that’s a different guy.

Sean Atchison

Sean Aitchison

Chief Operations Officer

Sean is the punk rock sasquatch that Jellybox calls their COO. He oversees studio operations, production, timelines and writing. He’s a dynamic mix of organization powerhouse and chaotic creativity with experience in animation writing, editorial journalism, podcast research and post-production (that’s a lot of things!). Sean has been with Jellybox since becoming Head Writer for NOXP, co-founding the studio with Gene. When he’s not working on Jellybox he’s watching cartoons, playing video games, building model kits, working out or searching for good coffee.

Laura Estrella

Laura Estrella

Animation Director

Laura Estrella is your favorite animation director as well as Umbert Actually’s fabulous showrunner, with an unhealthy amount of glitter in her veins. Used to thinking she’d never achieve anything because she was from a small, random, Spanish town, one day decided to try making cartoons instead of just watching them 24/7. After years of putting in the work, eventually things took off, and now she’s a successful silly goose with the power to boss everyone around. She also accidentally started the funny and terrifying #UnionYaoi trend and is the youngest Jellybox lead, by a lot, by a WHOLE LOT.

Kasey Williams

Kasey Williams

Creative Director

Kasey Williams is a color designer, illustrator, and all-around pretty cool person. She’s worked on a bunch of shows you might have heard of, like Animaniacs, Invincible, and The Legend of Vox Machina, among others. She’s also drawn loads of comics, has had work featured in galleries from LA to Paris to Tokyo, and was low-key one of the bigger Chill Anime Beats vine editors. One of the coolest things she’s done is marry Gene Goldstein, the president of Jellybox, making this a proper mom-and-pop animation shop. She can’t wait to show you what they’ve got in store!
